On October 20, 2016 the Temec Engineering Group, alongside many other Lower Mainland companies (including dodgeball nemesis Autopro Automation Consultants) participated in the Great British Columbia ShakeOut Earthquake Drill.
At 10:20 am, on a signal from reception, all Temec personnel in the Burnaby office dropped, crawled under tables or desks and held on for sixty seconds before proceeding to the muster point.
JOHS chair Andrew Woodruff reports the drill was successful. Thanks to all employees for their cheerful participation! It’s imperative that we are prepared; however, we hope we never have to do this for real!
