Senior Mechanical Engineer
Experience: 10+ years
Location: Edmonton, AB
Salary Range: $130,000 – $170,000

Responsibilities
- Process design and optimization for Oil & Gas
- Development of PFDs and P&IDs
- Sizing and specification of process equipment
- Piping system design including material selection, stress considerations, and layout support
- Preparation of engineering deliverables including datasheets, equipment specifications, line lists, and construction work packages
- Participation in HAZOP’s and other process safety reviews
- Field support including testing, commissioning, and system start-up
- Support procurement activities including vendor document review and bid evaluations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering
- Registered P. Eng with APEGA
- Strong written and verbal communication
- 10+ years of consulting engineering experience. Able to work independently and manage assigned project scope with little oversight.
- Strong knowledge of pressure equipment design and applicable codes
- Familiarity with piping design standards and codes
