We are integrators
Solutions to complex problems have many moving parts; carefully coordinated integration of inputs, outputs and the activities of all participants is crucial. Our ability to integrate, combined with proven project management experience and technical expertise, allows us to define and implement an optimized strategy to eliminate the problem and help our customers achieve business success.
We take the time to understand all of your problems first. Then we put our agile, project-savvy, bottom-line-thinking team to work.
Whether you need Feasibility Studies, Detailed Design, Procurement, Engineered Module Fabrication, Quality Assurance, Construction Management or Document Management, we can offer one, some, or all the services you need.
TEMEC Engineering has been providing traditional consulting engineering services to the heavy industrial and commercial sectors since 1986.
Supply of shop fabricated skids and engineered modules was added to our portfolio in 2014. Headquartered in Burnaby, BC, with a regional office in Edmonton, we are privately owned, proudly independent, and home to a dedicated team of top-notch project management, engineering and design professionals.
Our clients tell us that one of the best things about working with Temec is that we’re able to adapt to the business needs and information flow of the companies we work for. Seamless integration into your existing project development and implementation practices means we can deliver what you need, when you need it, in a manner that works for you.
Whether you need Feasibility Studies, Detailed Design, Procurement, Engineered Module Fabrication, Quality Assurance, Construction Management or Document Management, we can offer one, some, or all the services you need.
There are seven basic phases to a project life cycle from OPPORTUNITY to ONLINE.
The Temec Engineering Group can provide services for any or all of the seven basic life cycle phases
1. Opportunity
Someone has an idea. The idea might resolve a problem, or be a possible business opportunity for one of our clients.
2. Definition
The next step is project definition: investigating benefits, implementation costs and schedule in more detail for a final decision on project approval.
3. Detail
The business case prepared from the project feasibility study has been approved by the client. The third phase in the project life cycle – is detail engineering.
4. Fabrication
Detail design and procurement of major equipment is under way. The next step in the project – the fourth phase of the project life cycle – is off site fabrication.
5. Construction
The first installation contractor has mobilized at the site. The next step in the project is construction.
6. Start up
On site construction is approaching completion. The next step is to prepare the new or upgraded assets for operation and start up.
7. In service
Identify a number of opportunities for improvement, thus beginning the cycle again.
